Missing code/images #5

I am working along with your course on PluralSight. The course is very good and I am coding my project as we go along. Hands on coding really helps me to learn. I have found that all code (house.js, etc) and things like house pictures are not out here to down load. I think this started at (7) Conditional Rendering. The course is a beginner course and the parts that are missing would take too much time to hand code from scratch for a beginner. It would make the course an "A+" if all the components were include for the project and course. I really want to finish coding the whole project.

Thanks. I will try to figure that out. Although I have forty years of experience, git is new to me. I am use to TFS. This whole learning experience is a larger process than I thought. My background is C#, WPF, Entity, Sql, etc. More desktop applications for business.

Cheers,

Steve

Okay.. got it. Click the little 8 branches link and select different branches looking for the components I can’t find in the top branch.

Steve,

Go to the "code" tab on the github website. Just below the name of the tab is a dropdown with the different branches.

You can download each of them but if you're using Visual Studio Code and clone the repository (there's a link on the starting page to do that), you can easily switch branches by clicking on the bottom left of the screen in the blue bar.

Hope this helps.

Roland,

Wow,, sort of intuitively figured it out. I know I am an old timer but that is way!!! Cool!!! Thank you. I figured out how to clone the project and then it let me open it with VS Code. Then sure enough, clicking the @.*** shows me all the branches and I can change on the fly. LOVE IT!!!

Thanks for spending your time with me. I just lost a 8 year contract and have to find newer technology to get jumpstarted into. I have done asp.net and a little JS. This is almost like starting up as a newbie.

Cheers and Blessings to you,

Steve
