Example issue: #5950. This is breaking multiple sheets, it seems that only one frame from the GIF is displayed.

@CaptainScott0 FYI, I opened a bug here.

joesinghaus commented 4 years ago

@clevett Could you escalate this to the right person?

joesinghaus commented 4 years ago

@oliviakristiansen Any help?

Anduh commented 4 years ago

@Reonin did things with week.

Reonin commented 4 years ago

Hi @joesinghaus are you still seeing this issue? We put out a fix to to image server Friday morning that may have solved this!

Anduh commented 4 years ago

According to this forum thread created 10 hours ago, this might still be an issue.

A recent reply to a similar bug report on the forums:

Nicholas Roll20 Team (Forum thread) Hey folks There seems to be an issue with how our image server caching system interacts with GitHub. We've got a ticket going with the dev team to fix it and we'll try to get it addressed as soon as we can. Thanks for pointing this out!

joesinghaus commented 4 years ago

@Reonin This is still a problem.

Anduh commented 4 years ago

5950 is a duplicate of this issue

@joesinghaus Sorry for not answering you sooner. We've been taking turns doing character sheet updates. My GitHub notifications for this repo tend to be overwhelmed. I unfortunately do not have an update at this time for this issue.

Anduh commented 4 years ago

Any updates? Can we know the name of the bug ticket at least, for future reference?

There was a new forum thread asking about this

A year later and this is still an issue. Blades in the dark roll templates now show static images (or a broken GIF) instead of the playful animated version. Same problem as the ticket mentioned for Band of Blades.
