I have seen people using live tuning with RR simply by quick saving the file. The flasher monitors the file and updates the differences. This should be implemented in the flasher imo, because RR would have to implement it's own flashing code when other solutions already exist

Ah ok, that makes sense. I know EcuFlash has had "live tuning" listed as one of their future software plans for quite a while now, but I don't think they have implemented it yet.
I read a few old comments on some forums that Romraider had been looking into implementing realtime tuning capabilities through the use of RAM, is that still being worked on or was the idea abandoned?
It sure would be nice to not have to plug in the diagnostic connectors and completely reflash the ECU every time a change is made for testing...
