Opencast file download stops midway

While running python3 -m syncmymoodle I've come around the problem that the file download for opencast mp4 files stops midway through. The file can be opened but the video stops at the percentage where the download stopped. Since the file is there, the download won't be retried while rerunning the command. When I delete the file manually the download will be retried on the next command input but the download may crash again at a different percentage. I received no error messages at all. Are there any known fixes for this?
