Hi Hedronmx, thx for the screencast. The app had a similiar issue a while ago, but my provided update seemed to have fixed the issue. Have a look at issue #19 . The "shadow" grows bigger the more you zoom in right? At what zoom level does the shadow start to appear (1 = nearly no zoom, 7 = maximum zoom)? What machine do you use / how fast is it (is it a Intel i7 or a ten year old CPU)? Cheers Ronny

It appears at every zoom level. I just tried adjusting the zoom level but the bug still persists. I am running: Quad-Core Intel® Core™ i7-4820K CPU @ 3.70GHz Radeon HD 7970/8970 OEM / R9 280X 16 gb of ram

Oh boy I thought it's maybe caused by a slow CPU/GPU, but this is definitely not the problem here... I'm sorry but I don't see any possibility to help you :-/

I guess you have the following options: A. Compile the ColorPicker project on your own machine and try to figure out what's the problem. You should inspect especially this file: https://github.com/RonnyDo/ColorPicker/blob/master/src/Widgets/Picker.vala. B. Use another app, like https://github.com/stuartlangridge/ColourPicker/ or GPick. "ColourPicker" will probably have the same issues as my app, because the same libs are used.

I think it might be because of the driver I'm using. I installed on my surface pro and it works without a problem.... I might reinstall it, see if it helps.

Same here. Problem starts at zoom-level 3? (out of 6) and only occurs during the color selection.
