Putty command line error" unknown option "-serial" #485

I copied my SuperPuTTY files over from an old hard drive to a new one, but once
I did, whenever I tried to open a COM port from "Sessions" connection I got the
error:

Putty command line error Unknown option "-serial"

However from PuTTY and from the direct connect in SuperPutty I have no issues
opening COM ports.

I tried deleting all PuTTY and SuperPuTTY files and reinstalling, but when I
did so, I got the following issue when trying to create a new session i got the
following errors that did not appear before:

****Pictures attached (SP01,SP02)****

I deleted the folders where the programs were housed, and also the
configuration file that by default is under "c://users/USER/

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.4.0.5 on Windows 7

So, I deleted all files and re downloaded files 4 more times, and it just
