Cannot Autoconnect to Grom Audio Adapter (A2DP car adapter) #114

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Device (phone) brand: Motorola
Device (phone) model: Defy
Android OS version: 2.2.2
App version: A2.8.6
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make new Autoconnect-Profile at Carmode or any other Bluetooth device in
A2DP Volume (enable: also connect to Grom Audio)
2. Enable Bluetooth (Carmode)
3. A2DP Volume tries to connect to Grom Audio and the Bluetooth Device is grey
in Bluetuooth Device List but there's no bluetooth connection.
4. When disabling bluetooth the device says: Cannot connect to Grom Audio.
Incorrect PIN or key.

The Grom Audio Adapter is paired and can be connected manually.

Does the Grom have multiple profiles? When it shows connected in your Android
Bluetooth settings, does it say both headset and A2DP or media? Try un-pairing
and re-pairing the device. It looks like there was some key issue when you
paired it.

Hi, yes, the grom-adapter has a phone and a music (a2dp) profile. Now i have a
dension adapter with the same issue. I also tried un-pairing and re-pairing
without success.

I have not heard form the person who launched this for a long time. I must
assume he resolved it somehow. I suspect it was more an issue with his setup
than with this app. I am closing this.
