Cut off notification fix - cant hear beginning Navigation instructions #135

When my A2DP headset is connected and the navigation tells me "In 300m turn
left" I can only hear "...turn left" which is really irritating and annoying.
You can find a lot of bug reports for that problem on Google.
Can you please add a one seconds buffer and stream one second silent before
another application sends the sound to the headset?
Would be really great!
Thanks in advance

I have had that same issue actually. The real fix will be to route streams
which Jelly bean finally enabled. Routing streams will allow the navigation
stream to be sent over the voice call path which would be better in many cases
(but not all). That is already an issue posted here but I may not get a chance
to fix it until I have a cellular phone to test which that has Jelly Bean. I
have a Jelly Bean tablet but it does not support SMS.

I will leave this open and do some investigation into what can be done.

Try this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodslink.android.wiredheadpho
neroutingfix
use it to route navigation sounds to phone speaker. I have not tried it but it
may fix our issues.

Probably this here will fix this issue, too:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.turboled.enhancedtts
In fact, this would be a nicer solution at least for the navigation commands
(not any other BT stream)
