ssh: Connection refused #83

I rooted my OLED65C16LA with your wonderful project.

After that I can install RetroArch and more IPKs from Homebrew repo.

But after activating ssh and telnet and restarting my TV, I tried to connect via Putty, WinSCP, Filezilla... but no one works, always getting :

ssh: connect to host 192.168.2.13 port 22: Connection refused.

192.168.2.13 is my TV local IP.

Do you know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks

You have to activate the SSH server option in the homebrew channel's settings.

Same me. SSH server active, reboot 3-4 times but connection refused.

I found a solution russian forum "libcrypt.so.1.1.0 to Copy it to /media/developer/apps/usr/palm/services/org.webosbrew.hbchannel.service/bin/"but give /media/developer/apps/usr/palm/services/org.webosbrew.hbchannel.service/bin/dropbear: /lib/libc.so.6: version GLIBC_2.25 not found (required by /media/developer/apps/usr/palm/services/org.webosbrew.hbchannel.service/bin/libcrypt.so.1)" error.

The libcrypt thing is only relevant on webOS 7, and if you're getting errors about glibc symbol versions, you're not running webOS 7.

same problem here - have ssh server under homebrew channel enabled
