Editing a list item forgets the date

If a list item has a date assigned to it, when you click edit, the date gets reset to the mm/dd/yy placeholder. This means any edits to the item also delete the date.

Fixed: dev note: Firefox is not as robust at parsing date strings as other browsers, and needed some spaces added to parse correctly.
