I brought this up in Discord on March 21st and was told to provide my mupen64plus.cfg but never heard anything after that, so I figured I'd open an issue about it as the issue is still present in v0.3.9 and v0.4.0.
There is an English translation for "Virtual Pro Wrestling 2: Ōdō Keishō" and unfortunately, RMG flat out fails to run the game, always resulting in the following error:
The non-translated ROM loads without a problem. The translated ROM works on everything else I tested it with (Real Hardware, Project64, Mupen64Plus-Next, ares, and simple64). Despite this, I did try repatching just to be safe. Additionally even tried changing the headername as the translation uses weird characters in the header for some reason. Tried changing the file name, tried moving the file's location, Tried all 3 video plugins, all 3 RSP Plugins, All 3 CPU Emulator options, and the error above is what comes up every single time.
Additionally I've attached the same mupen64plus.cfg file I shared back on 3/21 when v0.3.8 was the latest version. mupen64plus.cfg.zip
