GC Adapter Input plugin doesn't work #203

I have a mayflash gc adapter, and it works flawlessly with other emulators, like dolphin and yuzu, when set to Wii u/Switch mode. When I select gc adapter plugin on RMG, the input settings becomes greyed out and it simply does not work ingame, only way to use gc controllers is with a third party program that makes the controller being recognized as xinput(like rewasd), but thats not the case here.

Is there any fix for this?

If I'm not mistaken: mupen64plus-input-gca may only work with the official GC adapter in Wii U/Switch mode. I don't have the Mayflash one anymore to confirm or deny this though.
