Just going through Wikipedia using "stardust" as a topic, and I discovered "Presolar", "PresolarOS" has a nice ring to it
Presolar grains are interstellar solid matter in the form of tiny solid grains that originated at a time before the Sun was formed (presolar: before the Sun). Meteoriticists often use the term to represent stardust, grains that originated within a single star and which they extract from meteorites for study.
"presolaros" rolls of the tongue nicely.
Should StardustOS have its name changed as there's already another OS with the same name. @andersevenrud found the other StardustOS and thought of the name "PresolarOS." This will affect the banner and logo issue #4.
