2 years ago Following the meeting on the 18th January we agreed that this is a visualisation issue, and so is not directly linked to the essential features in Phase II (experiment module, new quick forms, etc). There is also an existing user workaround for this where you can click on an area and get the name. In addition, the FarmOS maps cannot currently be printed (#89).
For this reason it has been moved to Phase II
As described in the document on https://github.com/Rothamsted-Ecoinformatics/farm_rothamsted/issues/70#issue-1093250757:
"This was specifically requested so that people can print of the map of a field from FarmOS and know easily where all the trials are in a field/ across the farm (instead of having to write the code on the map after printing). Ideally this would be visualised not only when the maps are printed, but also when they are being viewed in a browser."
In reality it would also be good to have the names of the commercial assets displayed so this could be a feature that expands outside just the experiment module.
