I don't think farming is that pleasuring, and I'd like to make a suggestion that would make it more pleasureable for others.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add the ability for farming tools to be able to make tilled soil, which will provide a miniscule boost to crops when it comes to farming, also giving small bits of experience to the farming skill. Also, it allows people to clear the annoying grass and open up more places for large-scale farming, or making gardens in some spots.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Adding a new tool - the plough, which will allow the soil to be plowed. It would be nice if the tilled soil was lighter in colors, for better discernment.
Additional context
I think that farming deserves to have some attention to it mechanically as agriculture is the epitome of technological development, and having it be so barebones, so unfulfilling, becomes so depressive as a patriotic soilman.
Ploughs already existed since the times of Mesopotamia, millenia ago. It would make sense that they exist in a 'medieval' setting.
