Sorting stats ask #503

Open ijm8710 opened 5 years ago

Sagi from http://www.howsmyclan.com has a great little site that takes data from the API and presents it however the user would like to sort. E.g. you can sort the clan by lifetime wins which you cannot on royaleapi.com

There are several stats I would love to see that are not on royaleapi.com but that he does not have access to without your data. If you do not see the investment in adding them locally, would you potentially be open to granting partial server access to him? Specifically some of the lifetime war stats that you track for enabled clans. Just an ask, if not, no worries.

@ijm8710 I think this falls into the category of other items that I've commented on today in that it's a request to either a) store a tremendous amount of data to enable or b) give more access to local data. I don't see either happening and there are other priorities that are being focused on at the moment (and for the near-term).

I'm going to suggest that we close this for now. The website itself is interesting, though! Thanks for sharing - that was new to me.

@6Sean Completely understand more access to local data can be a strain, I’d much rather have it housed with you guys

Essentially, I’d love sortable rankings lifetime for:

I still feel it makes sense to keep open, even if a low priority I think there’s value to somehow being able to sort the clan by that, but if you feel the desire to close this, go for it

I'll probably close it when I summarize lifetime stats asks which would include this one - they're spread across multiple issues at the moment. Thanks for the response.
