6 years ago @u/smlbiobot to counterpoint your point on twitter that this can obscure the averages the same can be said for collection day card collected total. If you sort it, obviously new members will have a smaller subset and therefore lower total. But it’s still helpful to total it up.
The value is if you choose to show all members including those no longer In clan. Let’s say you have 40 retained members who did 280 battles 5 former members who did 20 battles 4 new members who did 24 battles
Over the past 10 Was it will show 324 total battles. And the average would display as 6.61 for all 49’members present and past. Even if it’s semi skewed by members leaving or joining, it is still an accurate average and helpful because you can take 6.61 divide it by 10 so a mean of .661 and multiply it by you’re 44 current members to know that you do expect an average of 29 members to participate in war

Right now there is no quick way to tally all the total war battles for all clan member participants without exporting or manually adding them up. There is value to having the total or average for the count of war battles and also for MiA count. I agree this value makes less sense when clans constantly shift members in and out but for clans that have a steady stream of 40 players, the value is there
