Hi, I'm trying to use badges for BYOB. Is there a way to use the icon option from badgen website ?

Currently no, however that is a good idea, I think I can implement that this week.

This has been implemented in 435ba76aef07cf7ae5dd76b0f5d8a2d9d943c06a, see the new README for v1.2.0's addition of icons. They can be with and without a label, and with custom URLs.
