Items disappear #197

While pressing my keybind to put something out of my offhand (F) the item just disappears. Deletes itself from existence. I lost quite a bit of stuff this way and it's become so annoying I had to uninstall the mod. I'm not sure if this is a thing with only this mod or it's because of the other 120 mods I've got installed, I will check that out when I remember and update this issue.

It's extremely likely to be a compatibility issue. Better Combat is the most popular one amongst incompatible mods.

didn't seem it had any issues with better combat whatsoever (or at least I didn't notice) but I will look into it later as right now I just wanna enjoy some playing and not troubleshooting xd

Pretty sure this has been a known bug in the better combat community for a long time. Yes your item will disappear if you use the switch hands key (F) while having better combat installed in fact on my server sometimes it tries to give you the item back and accidently duplicates it i ended up having 3 of my enchanted axes duplicated
