Suggestion: Radial hotbar selection & Specific option disables #69

So I've been playing with inventorio for a while on my own heavy modded survival server, and both me and my server mates have come up with four suggestions that we think would massively improve the mod in general.

The first of which is an option for radial-selection on the hotbar. The consensus of the server is that the 3 split hotbar using double-tap keys is alright once you get used to it, but far too easy to misclick instinctively or accidentally when in a pinch and rapidly trying to access a specific weapon/item on the other side of the hotbar. It's more convenient to use a mouse with an extra button or two for other end of the hotbar and keeping the default numbers. Of course, not all of us have mice with extra buttons. We've collectively agreed that a radial bar accessed with a simple button press, and changing the hotbar slot based on mouse movement + button release.

The second suggestion is the option to disable specific parts of the toolbelt- such as the sword- due to the fact the server has combat-modifying mods, this part is especially important. Especially when multiple weapons are being used.

The third is the ability to use the toolbelt when right-clicking with an empty hand on a non-interactable block (so excluding redstone utilities), allowing for the use of a hoe or shovel on dirt or grass, or an axe on log- though this obviously introduces the issue of which tool to prioritize for the tool belt. An idea proposed was to have a small choice pop up when holding empty-handed right click on a block, allowing you to switch between the option to prioritize with mouse movement (left or right). Holding again would allow you to reselect, rapid clicking would not.

The fourth is simply the ability to disable the offhand entirely at the press of a key.

Thank you for your time and the mod~♪ PS: small final suggestion- a small delay between punching and switching to a tool when breaking things would be nice. Accidentally breaking insta-mine blocks when punching out torches or grass is somewhat annoying.

While I value your feedback, at this point, I don't have time to work on this mod aside of basic maintenance.

I've actually tried to make right-click functionality of an axe and a shovel work, but Minecraft is hard-coded in a way that you need to hold it in your main hand in order for it to work.

What's the benefit of disabling the off-hand (or a sword slot) if you can just not put stuff into it? That's genuine question: this suggestion in particular comes up from time to time.

That said, there's a mod for the radial selection menu and I think it should stack with Inventorio: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/minemenu

The benefit would be if you have stuff in the offhand. While you can easily (somewhat) take things out with only a single item in your offhand, when you start to add multiple it becomes a hassle- especially with a full hotbar. Sure, you can go into your inventory and shift-click everything, but that is time not moving, and when in a dungeon or pvp, that can screw you over. Add into that mods with two-handed weapons that slow down with something in the offhand as well, and it becomes even more important.

And take your time~ Not like any of us expected any suggestion to be implemented any time soon anyway :P The fact you're already listening is honestly fantastic. Not much more we can ask for, tbh. Good luck with whatever you're doing atm~

And I'll check out that mod. I've never scene it before so I'll load it into the modpack and have people check out how it works with inventorio.
