You could also host your own instance, after all my fork is still open source.
If you want to forward the domain, that is also possible. I use Nginx as reverse proxy, meaning I can also display the same website (explorer.melroy.org) under the bchmempool.cash domain, without a redirect.
@melroy89 imo bchmempool.cash domain is easier to memorize than explorer.melroy.org
I know. But I didn't register that domain. I'm just saying they could point the dns record correctly. So the domain end up here.
But since I don't own that domain. I can't do that.
I want to reboot bchmempool.cash with @melroy89 's fork, but it requires BCHN. I am running Bitcoin Unlimited. I also need this same node for fusionstats.redteam.cash, which uses RPC calls to bitcoind. I need to make sure that those RPC calls are compatible with BCHN.
I could list @melroy89's server as a backup IP address in the domain records. That would require some SSL certificate management.
I can do the SSL termination on my server side if you add the backup DNS record to your domain towards my IP. However, Let's Encrypt (the tool I use) only allows me to renew the cert, if the domain is actually configured like that.
@melroy89 made a better fork, i think its better to migrate the domain/repo to there.
