Dependencies update #35

We had troubles using this library with our stack due to version incompatibilities so I updated all dependencies and adjusted the API usage where necessary.

@hofiorg Entschuldigung :) You should make your change in the src/ files and then run gulp to get it into dist. I am on the road right now but can do it tomorrow if you don't have time.
