Hello, I understand your use-case but IMHO this is out of the scope of this project and I want to focus on downloading videos in the browser. You could try youtube-dl-webui that seems to do what you want.

Hi
I am using the release version and it works fine. So this is not a bug report.
I am wondering if it is possible to download the video to a folder that is defined on the server. So when the user pastes the video url to download, download happens and stays on the server side.
The reason I am asking for this is that, I am thinking that I can configure the download path to one of the media folder Emby uses, then Emby (or Plex etc) indexes them so I can watch them later.
This can be especially useful to mobile users where they do not want to store youtube files on their phones.
thanks
