I've learned pretty much everything I need to know about rewriting Elona from this version of the engine, but the choice of Lua lead to serious maintainability issues. The final version of OpenNefia will use C# and some sort of flexible architecture that should support most everything that this version supports.
This is a one-time thing. There will be no more rewrites after this.
