No ports showing #22

This firmware is absolutely amazing compared to the stock one. The only problem I'm having is that none of the ports are showing. There's no "ports" section visible.

I have the assets for Cannonball, Devilution, prboom and Sonic retro in the correct folders but there's nothing visible in EmulationStation.

Anyone else having this problem?

Well it seems that for some reason "ports" is hidden in the games collection settings. So now I have a ports section. Sadly only sdlpop and tyrquake is showing. No Cannonball, Devilution, Sonic Retro etc....

Have you checked ./share/system/configs/emulationstation/es_systems.cfg on your card?

I think you just have to add the entries because they are missing.

Thank you for that suggestion! I have managed to get ECwolf, TyrQuake, CannonBall, CaveStory, Dinothawr, Doom, MrBoom and sdlpop to show in the ports section and they work! Thanks to your other thread and acmeplus I got Rick Dangerous working.

I haven't a clue what to put in es_systems for Sonic Retro and DevilutionX as I don't think they don't have cores like the others. Also I notice a core for Reminiscence but I just get a black screen.

Reminiscence is working for me. Did you make sure to open a .map file from the game folder?

I had moved on but went back to it because of your comment. I have ".map" as the extension in my es_systems.cfg for remininscence. I still get a black screen. I opened RA with START and SELECT and made a quick reminiscence playlist. The game started when I selected level1.map (everything else gave a black screen).

So I can start it from within RA but not from ES. I know from setting up the game in EmuELEC that it exhibits the same bizarre behavior there too.

I need to to spend more time trying to figure it out. Cracking game though!
