is runeaudio dead? #31

Just installed it onto a RPi, and checked the latest commit: 2016 here on github? When you update the system via pacman -Syu (shall we do that?), there are plenty of updates (536 Mb Download), many replacements of packages with similar/newer ones...

Is this project dead? Do you still recommend it for usage?

I found at least https://www.runeaudio.com/forum/runeaudio-r-e6-t7141.html - and https://cloud.s-t-franz.de/s/kQsmLp3FXJ5itPE This seems to be the latest version. as the official 0.3 is from 2014, shouldn't there be a new release? even the old one is beta. Would help to keep people with runeaudio. It was not easy to find that update.

ok, I can answer this fo rmyself, runeaudio isn't dead, but needs a new release. It's working great, AFAI can see - but it's a bit hard to find a working version. the more or less stable version from the homepage is outdated and dysfunctional. Please just update the download - the current dev version is MUCH better than the version to download.
