Improved testing 16 #1182

Fix: Update timed tests to be more testable. Add: A lot more tests of components using the timed test feature.

This is the final PR in the series of #1148 for testability improvements.

Exciting! The best testing we have had for the timed exam yet. Once we get some tests working with the select question I will feel ready/confident to tackle the much requested "partial reset" feature!
