Unable to enroll in existing course #367

When attempting to enroll in a colleague's existing course, I encounter an error:

"Errors in form, please check it out." And below my email address : "Value already in database or empty"

This feature worked for me last spring term and stopped working this summer.

I am attempting the usual process of Change Course ...Enroll n a Course... and then typing the desired course. I am able to enroll in an existing main course directly from the Library.

Can you tell me which course you are trying to enroll in? I have tried this with several courses and cannot recreate the problem you describe.

CSC-270-23Spring is one such course.

Hmmm, I just added it by enrolling from the change course page with no problem.

However, I do see that you have two different usernames but both have the same email address. Somehow you snuck through a loop hole there and that is surely the problem.

Oh no. My current username shows as lyndadanielson. Is it possible for you to delete the other incorrect username? I apologize for this error. Thank you!

One was much much newer than the other. But I have deleted the one for ldanielson It did not look like there was very much, if any, data for that user in the DB anyway.

Hello again, We have a student experiencing the same issue and is unable to enroll in the course CSC-150-MWF-23Fall. Perhaps he has two different usernames associated with the same email? The student is:

user name: gerardo-madera email: gerardo.madera@yotes.collegeofidaho.edu

and he has pervious course enrollments including CSC-270-23Spring

We would appreciate any assistance getting him enrolled in CSC-150-MWF-23Fall. Thank you!

This is self solvable by changing the email address in the edit profile page.
