We have added options for choosing font-size and font-family. The fonts included are Merriweather, Open Sans, Georgia, Andale Mono, Arial, Arial Black. Book Antiqua, Comic Sans MS, Courier New, Georgia, helvetica, Impact, Symbol, Tahoma, Terminal, Times New Roman, Trebuchet MS, Verdana, Webdings, and Wingdings.
By Default the text in TinyMce Editor's given Open Sans 17px and its unjustified. The default styles can be overridden by choosing a new style from the tinymce editor.
The captions are by default Open Sans 15 and line spacing 15px. Again the caption's font-family and font-size can be customised using tinymce’s font-size and font-family.
The Headlines (Article Title) is given Merriweather font and size 48px by default and it cannot be customized as its part of form data and not in tinymce. it is mentioned via css.
let us know about your feedback.

Font on individual Article: Article Title - Merriwether, 48 px, (36pt?) line height - 57px (this is wrong, confirm with 2 line head) 120% Strap - Merriwether, italic, Size - 18.18px (13.65 pt?). Lineheight 1.3?
(Make author black) Article - Open Sans, 12.5pt Line height - 1.6 fall back - 12 pt line height - 1.6

Here are the Fonts that were decided Text Open Sans 17 28 px "Unjustified"
Headlines Merriweather 48, Line spacing - 1.2
Strap - Couple of lines may be 3 max that 25 Open Sans
Subheadings Open Sans 21 px 600 bold
Captions Open Sans 15, Line space 25. (no bold)
In order to make this possible instead of straitjacketing the TinyMCE using journalist/writer in to the above fonts, we make them default but customisable. May be the fonts and sizes should be available as drop down choices. In addition to Open Sans, Merriweather, we could also have other fonts - ex. Georgia.
