What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Usually when there is a ":" in MSG, a part of the message before this ":"
is truncated:

Ex:
prsa2000    local2  info    96  2009-12-09  17:05:20    Juniper 2009-12-09 17:06:34 -
CLUSTER-SA2000-PR - [xx.xx.xx.xx] mfil(Personnel interne)[OUEST ALU - Chefs

0 bytes read (in 0 chunks) and 619 bytes written (in 1 chunks)

"2009-12-09 17:" is truncated

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Try modifying your config.php and changing the CISCO_TAG_PARSE value to false.
