modprobe fuse = FATAL: Module fuse not found. #92

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. install fuse and all dep
2. run command 'mod probe fuse'

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect it to find fuse instead i get FATAL: Module fuse not found.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
fuse 2.8.4 CENT OS 5.4 on an OpenVZ VPS

Please provide any additional information below.
It should be worth noting in your wiki guides(and looking into a solution) that
you cannot use fuse/s3fs on a VPS unless the host OpenVZ server has fuse
support.

As there is no possible way to mount an s3fs system on a VPS without it which I
find odd as it is supposed to be enabled by default on moderm kernels....

I'm pretty sure this is the same issue as issue #140
