Russian Doom 3.0 release plan

This will be a two-year anniversary of the project.

I'm ultimately focused on my day job and totally out of new ideas, not sure what to do next on RD project. English version seems to be working fine and absolutely friendly with gold classic like Eternal Doom and Plutonia 2, as well as with newly released REKKR.

Mods which are probably will not work well:

• With custom, heavily modified COLORMAP
• With custom, heavily modified PLAYPAL
• With ZDBsp nodes
• With same patch names for wall and floor/ceiling textures
• With non-standard DEHACKED specifics

Things to care about:

Common

• [x] Crosshair should indicate health initially (but crosshair itself disabled by default)
• [x] Crosshair should be toggled even while opened game menu (Doom only, H&H are fine)

Press Beta

• [x] Add support for English language
• [x] ~Custom powerup palettes are broken (not appearing)~

Atari Jaguar

• [x] Add support for English language
• [x] Translate final text in Russian
• [x] Make intermission text elements with flat Jaguar fonts

Setup executable

• [x] All main menus should have same size in both English and Russian languages (but individually for all three games)

Meanwhile, I have to reveal one small and totally transparent Easter egg on Extra Map level of Jaguar TC. Nobody will never understand it, so I'm free to explain it here.

There are two hanging legs on the level. One is missing any skill level flags, as a reference to Fabian, who prefer to a have a messages about missing flags (leg in the right alcove):

Another leg is hanging right on the sky texture, as a reference to Brad, who prefer don't have a hanging legs on sky ceilings:

English language?

Changing available in the Main Menu of Setup executable by pressing F4 (don't forget to save the changes before quit), or by setting: english_language to 1 in configuration file. The language is chosen individually for each game.

Jaguar?

Simply start the game as russian-doom.exe -jaguar, no need to download anything additionally.

DoomWiki will be updated with version 3.1, it will be much more polished, and have fixed bugs in Russian translation, brought by adding English language fallback. Anyways, it was a good step to have a both languages.
