Could not find database settings / could not connect to database

MAC OS Mavericks postgres9.3 / ruby 1.9.3 / java 1.7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I'm able to connect to the postgres database with metaploit
2. I'm able to access to the database with ruby using pg gem
3. I'm not able to gat access to the database with armitage

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of Metasploit are you using (type: svn info)? On which
operating system?

Which database are you using?

Please provide any additional information below.

Connecting to the metasploit framework on MacOS X is not supported. It's 
documented that this is not supported. Is it possible? Absolutely. Will I 
troubleshoot your environment and dependencies for you? No. If you want 
real-time help, pop by #armitage on irc.freenode.net. Someone may be able to 
help you with OS X. I'm not going to do it here though. 

I'll give you one tip though: sudo -E
