[Ubuntu 23.10] cargo unable to build `error: failed to run custom build command for `alsa-sys v0.3.1`` #538

I'm unable to build this library in a Rust project. I get this error after running the cargo build:

   Compiling lewton v0.10.2

My cargo.toml file just has rodio = "0.17.3" in the dependencies section.

Release: "Ubuntu 23.10", Kernel: "6.5.0-14" Rust 2021 and cargo version "cargo 1.74.1 (ecb9851af 2023-10-18)".

You should try sudo apt install libasound2-dev.

@est31 Thanks, that fixed it. I didn't see that in the documentation though.
