License for YARA rules? #1

Hey @RustyNoob-619

I wanted to add support for your rules to https://github.com/chainguard-dev/bincapz - but I wasn't sure what open-source rules these were licensed under. Is it possible to add a LICENSE file to this repo or the rules directory to clarify it?

Great rules, btw. I like that you included more non-Windows rules than most of the 100-days participants.

Hi @tstromberg , apologies for the delay in replying. I am still pretty new to GitHub but am happy to add the LICENSE file.

I am glad you liked the YARA rules. I am more than happy for you to add these to your repo as these rules are open source. I would appreciate if you could mention me as the author for the YARA rules.

Have added the LICENSE.txt to the main repo. Let me know if there are any issues with the license file.
