Decide front-end #2

Personally, I've worked only with tkinter, but I know this is not the best choice for this project. Afaik, PyQT seems to be a good option. I don't know if there are others. Anyway, when we get a minimal sketch of how the front-end will be, I may start helping with it.

I am thinking of using pyside. Though I heard varying things about it compared with PyQT. Is it still being actively developed? Hard to tell since there's like no recent discussion on the matter.
