i wanted to know if there was any way to get the ereader with full functionality to work on an avatar

It is only functional for worlds, though I have gotten enough inquires for avatar functionality that I may consider it. The only thing stopping me is that there is no Udon C# code that can run in Avatar SDK, which is necessary to compile and format the text. So best case scenario, if you'd like to read a book, is probably opening up a PDF on your desktop and having a pseudo book model attached to your avatar's hand. You can pretend to be reading in VRChat while actually having a VR desktop addon overlaying the book and reading from there.
