• Can have games like "how is this person feeling" and the child must respond they feel if the child is correct they can be asked to explain the emotion and what they would do if they felt that emotion #EQ
  • For example, if a teacher says, “Freddy said that he felt angry when his friend took his toy away. How do you feel when someone takes your toy?” Here, the teacher is helping children to understand anger and when it may arise. The teacher is also encouraging students to consider their own feelings and how they might react in the same situation. When children begin to realize or are reminded that their actions, such as stealing a friend's toy, produce the same negative emotions in others, children may be less likely to engage in those negative actions in the future. #berlinerReviewResearchPromoting2015
