OS X Lion Full Screen Menu Bar Issue #42

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch any program that supports full screen capability. (Ex: Safari)
2. Activate full screen mode.
3. Half of the adress bar will be covered with the menu bar itself. Also, the
text will be scrambled.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect the menu bar to disappear completely when working in full screen mode,
and appear only when I move the mouse the the top. However, this is not what
actually happens. In fact, half of the adress bar will be covered with the menu
bar itself. Also, the text will be scrambled. (Screenshot attached).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

OS X Lion 10.7.1
Nocturne 2.0.0

Please provide any additional information below.

I guess no more information is needed as the problem is clear, and more obvious
with the screenshot attached.

Thank you.

I believe this is a real issue for OS X Lion Users. Since GeekTool is already
on the AppStore, people are experimenting with new desktop themes. Nocturne
will be one of the many programs new GeekTool users will find first. I know it
was for me. But I can't enjoy the night mode menu bar when I full screen browse
any app, which is usually Safari and iTunes. Please fix this! I keep checking
back to see if there's an update but so far nothing! This is a big issue for OS
X Lion Users, please fix it! Thank you!

I'm getting the exact same problem. How do you know it is only for Lion users ?
I can confirm it's pretty annoying especially cause I use full screen
applications a lot.
And I can't understand why it happen since Nocturn is only supposed to change
menu bar.
