Could not connect to the ViGEmbus driver #822

Could not connect to the ViGEmbus driver however the C++ Redistributable 2017 is installed correctly, both x64 and x86 version. Installation of ViGEmbus finished succesfully but driver is not discovered by DS4Windows. Im using the Ryochan7 version of DS4Windows. Im using the Windows 7 x64.

Are you sure the driver installed properly? Is there a Virtual Gamepad Emulation Bus device listed in the Device Manager under System Devices? DS4Windows should complain when you run it again if it can't find the device.

I've got Virtual Gamepad Emulation Bus marked with exclamation mark on yellow triangle.

Probably you are missing the required Win7 MS updates for encyption engine. See Wiki pages of DS4Win for more info

Right front of you in the tab sheet list. There is a tab sheet Wiki of Ds4Win project and there is Troubleshooting page. This issue in Win7 is explained there
