I noticed that all copied links' paths are absolute, even if the relative link is selected in Obsidian's settings.

Can link types follow Obsidian's settings?

I'm aware of this problem, but fixing it requires an entire rewrite of how links are copied. Specifically, determining the copied text must be deferred until the very moment it is pasted into some note.

This rewriting will also resolve some other existing problems so I will definitely work on it someday, but it's not the easiest work. So it will not happen very shortly.
