I have added a fix to the plugin and will look at adding the old method back to the API in spigot

Bukkit actually fixed the old way but I merged it anyway just to show appreciation for you help. Thanks a lot.

I made a patch for spigot but one of the other guys was working on a full potions rewrite so I didn't submit it :)

(also i couldn't figure out by myself how to send a merge request as they use an odd different system and i didn't want to be annoying xD)
