When playing the Golf Adventure mode (with dumped save w/ mii from Switch), Debilitating visual bugs begin in the center column of the screen, and top right, after starting a golfing tutorial. Stays in the center as the camera turns. Will persist even after ending the tutorial when walking around.

Can confirm the rendering issue. Ryujinx settings to default, resolution scaling disabled, nvidia settings to default, purged shader cache. Nothing relevant in logs

Introduction:

I have also had the graphical glitch above. It started happening when i reached the first qualifying tournament in the Adventure Mode.

The game also suffers from extremely long loading times and audio de-sync.

My PC specs are:

• Windows 10
• 3700x
• RTX 3080
• 32GB 3600Mhz

Methodology:

• Start game and go into Adventure Mode
• Talk to the character that allows you to sign up for the 1st qualifying tournament
• Map Loads
• Graphical Glitch occurs
• After the Glitch occurs, it will remain even when playing in the Single Player mode (Non-Adventure Mode), but only if Adventure Mode was started first the Glitch happened

Workaround:

Thankfully there is a solution to the graphical glitch and from hours of testing, it seems to solve it 100% of the time. To clarify, i didn't find the workaround someone else did.

If you come across the visual glitch on the Adventure Mode all you have to do is leave the mode, start a match in single player and load any course. The glitch will still be there, but if you now go to the main menu and load the Adventure Mode the visual glitch will now be gone. This has to be done everytime Ryujinx is restarted.

I was able to reproduce the graphical bug with my rx 570 on Linux - latest Mesa drivers The workaround works fine for the ongoing session

Issue 1: Same issue of users above, but only happens in updated version of the game, if you deactivate the update it works fine.

Issue 2: Very slow loading when entering a tournament or golf practice.

i also tested that but for me it wasnt working for whatever reason. everytime i went back from Non Adventure Mode to Adventure Mode again the glitches already happened while not even loading a golf map. thats why i disabled the update.

For me the workaround works when the glitch appears. You need to go from Adventure mode to "Solo Challenge" and then go back to adventure mode.

If you only want to play with someone in Normal Golf mode. Just never pick Bowser. The Glitch appears only if you select Bowser.

I can confirm what's already said here even today on Ryujinx 1.0.7072 and I'm using the 3.0.0 update of the game.

Windows 10 21H1 Enterprise i7 8700k NVIDIA GTX 1070 (472.12 standard drivers) 64gb RAM

NVIDIA's new drivers (496.13) gave me more gltiches along with broken Mii faces, however yuzu is also affected by the new drivers so it's not Ryujinx fault and reverting back to 472.12 did the trick.

Also for me this lightning/rainbow/light glitch seems to be random at times but for the most part I can't really enjoy Adventure mode at all.

Not able to remove it completely, but I can get the bars to become translucent and Adventure mode becomes somewhat playable.

• Start a normal golf mode game
• Quit and go to adventure mode

Found out what the Problem is if you just want to play with your friend in normal golf mode. You only get the glitches if you choose random holes. If your starting hole is 1 than you can play normal golf with every character.

Same issue here. Happens with update 4.0 but not on 1.0.

Played much of game on 1.0, having forgot to enable the 4.0 update. After applying the update, the issue manifested in the first challenge I (immediately) entered (desert treasure finding + sacred firebird).

Resolved only by disabling the update and continuing on 1.0...

Ryujinx crashes every time I load golf adventure, other modes seem to work fine. I have tried changing most the settings and it does it on 1.0 and v4.0. any ideas?
