When using opengl I can get just a bit further to the main menu where you are prompted online / local / etc., but the game crashes when a play mode is selected.

Same problem, I have 1.1.1069 on macOS Sonoma.

I have a similar problem till this day. This game is so fun to play with friends.

I wonder why the devs don't give the attention it deserves =(

Hello everyone! I've noticed that many people are eager to play this game, so I did some research and managed to find a version of Ryujinx that is capable of running Switch Sports. Unfortunately, this version isn't available for download, as it's a work in progress development branch. However, I took it upon myself to download and build this version.

The menus can be a bit laggy, and FPS drops occur quite frequently. Thankfully, the gameplay itself is quite enjoyable! While there are some minor frame rate drops, I was able to play most of the games without any issues. I've also captured some screenshots for you.

I've uploaded this version to my Google Drive in case anyone here wants to give it a try. Here's the link.

Please note: I enabled the "Ignore missing services" option, as I noticed some people mentioning that it's necessary for smoother operation. Additionally, make sure to switch to Vulkan instead of using OpenGL for better performance.

Hello, I have tried your version with AMD graphics. It doesn't work, neither in Vulkan nor OpenGL, I don't know what to do.

Hello, I have tried your version with AMD graphics. It doesn't work, neither in Vulkan nor OpenGL, I don't know what to do.

I know that OpenGL isn't going to work because the developer who created this version stated that it's exclusively for Vulkan. I can't confirm if they mentioned it was intended for Nvidia only, but based on your testing, unfortunately, it seems to be the case.

Thanks man, working on my 3050 laptop, normal Ryujinx version crashes upon reaching the menu.

Actually, how do you set up the joy-cons? it identifies them as separate L and R, I tried the Steam launch trick but it doesnt work.

This is my issue with Ryujinx. The only way to achieve that is by using the Steam launch workaround. Unfortunately, I can't provide a step-by-step guide as I haven't personally done it. However, even without implementing this workaround, you can play every game except football. If you're determined to make it work, I'm aware that it is possible.

Your work is remarkable. It really works. However, there are certain sports that the game cannot access to play like badminton, chambara and soccer. They always require a motion control calibration and I cannot get past this process, even though, I follow the instruction. Are there any ways to fix this?

@Redisal Thanks for your new link, but I have a question, can you play Badminton and Chambara in your env. I am using 17.0.0 key and firmware and the game remind me need to adjust joycon when I choose both of two sports.

Apologies, I'm new to building. Could you give some short instructions on how to build the files in the google drive? Thanks

spownhot commented 2 months ago

@r4f4w, is it possible to get the source code of that branch? I want to compile it for linux. Thanks
