I haven't experienced any audio stuttering at all

CpHeat commented 3 months ago

I am experiencing heavy audio stuttering too GPU : 6900xtx CPU : 5900x Ram: 32gb DDR4

gdkchan commented 3 months ago

Make sure the audio backend is set to SDL2 in the emulator settings.

CpHeat commented 3 months ago

I was coming back after testing out audio options (I didn't get that I needed to restart emulation for them to actually change) and yes the problem seems specifically linked to using openAL

ndrafahl commented 3 months ago

Unfortunately I'm having the same problem with audio stuttering in this game, even when using SDL2 as the backend (but it's noticeably worse if I use OpenAL).

It's actually strange as I had fixed it "temporarily" somehow last night when I was playing. Here's sort of the sequence of events:

  1. Had audio stuttering last night, didn't matter what backend I was using, left it on SDL2.
  2. Realized I hadn't applied the 1.01 patch for the game. Applied that patch with no other changes.
  3. Audio stuttering was resolved. Played for a few hours without a problem.
  4. Came back this morning and re-launched Ryujinx and it stated there was an application upgrade, so I applied that.
  5. Audio stuttering is back.

I've tried to go back and forth between applying the game update and not, with no change.

I have a similar issue with the audio crackling/stuttering constantly but with varying intensities. Interestingly, the audio periodically fixes itself, but will eventually return after maybe 30 minutes; possibly a synchronicity issue since framerate is a constant 60. It tends to be good from initial application (ryujinx) start up. No other issues aside from the audio, but the crackling can get very intensive and unbearable (I honestly enjoy playing more with the game muted at this point). It may or may not be related, but it seems that the crackling is less frequent when I'm not watching youtube on a second monitor.

I'm playing on kubuntu with SDL2. i7 11700 @ 2.5 (default), rtx 3080, and 64 GB DDR4 RAM

I am facing a controller issue specifically on the Steam Deck, for some reason the game is always acting as if the left analog stick is held downwards. I know that that it's not due to stick drift since the problem occurs with other controllers as well and isn't present in any other games (RyujiNX or not).

I've got the same issue with different game when the game start ( like xenon blade chronicle ) with the controller pro just move the stick in all direction and the bug stop, don't know why.

Hi anyone know how to resolve the black screen issue after adding the game update v1.04 to the main game? I got the game update and followed the instruction to add the update. The UI reflects the new game version. The emulator is also updated to latest firmware version 18.0.0 with compatible prod.keys. However, the updated game won't run. And if I revert back to the base game with update v1.01, the game would run fine. Any ideas? Thanks.
