1 month ago I'm unable to reproduce the described crashing issue, but there are graphical issues. Game objects occasionally flicker as seen in the background of this video:

I have a fix for the BcatService error that I'll make a pull request for shortly. In the meantime, ignoring these errors and pretending everything is fine may fix the crash (Setting -> System -> Hacks -> Ignore Missing Services).
Vulkan runs fine (~30fps) with minor graphical glitches (textures flickering).
OpenGL seems to have issues with the fog effect and was running much worse (~7-15fps).
As far as I can see so far, it looks like status-playable (with "Ignore Missing Services" enabled).

1 month ago all i will say is that the game is still not able to be run through wireless multiplayer. If it is and i am just being an idiot let me know

Game starts on the 1-1 level with no visual or sound glitches.
At the end of the 1-1 level, it crashes systematically.
At each game restart after that step, it will crash as soon as the game starts. (Reset by deleting user save)
