I've been creating my own version of OldSNES as a hobby project and have a build of snes9x 1.10 that should still work here. I was also having problems with it crashing. My snes9x fork: https://github.com/elliot-forty-two/snes9x_3ds And there's a build here: https://github.com/elliot-forty-two/snes-wrapper/raw/master/template/snes9x_3ds.elf
I'm sorry, but in your build, the screen becomes black when you leave to home screen, close the device, and open it again.
Oh, what ROM are you trying and on what device? Both screens black?
I am trying to run earthbound, both screens are black. I am running it on the o3ds.
Hello, Me I find that has a strange thing anyway If i play alien vs predator with snes9x 1.10 in cia version i have no problem On the other hand with the version fork there are flashes of light I say thank you for the work done on it and so can create virtual console game snes;)
@starndust31 I get the black screens too but also with the official snes9x 1.10, And I see you've reported the bug there, so nothing wrong with OldSNES. @alucard73 if you have a problem specifically with my build maybe bring it up in my repo. @Ryuzaki-MrL sorry for hijacking this thread.
@elliot-forty-two Yes I took your version elf that you indicated above, on the official version 1.10 by cons the game has no flicker of light
Hello. I am also experiencing this issue. The game I'm trying to run is Slayers with the fan translation applied. I'll try to create a version with the fork version.
Update: it seems the issue, at least for Slayers, is solved with the second link of the second reply.

For the snes9x Virtual Console, when I try to exit, the system restarts, how do I fix that.
