74HC4050D Toshiba Substitute #97

The 74HC4050D Toshiba chip is currently out of stock everywhere with a 25 week lead time. Does anyone know if i can use any Buffer, Non-Inverting 6 Element 1 Bit per Element Output 16-SOIC chip or does it have to be this one?

The Nexperia 74HC4050D,653 is also a Buffer, Non-Inverting 6 Element 1 Bit per Element but instead of output its Push-Pull Output 16-SO. Would that make a difference?

Sorry for the n00b question I tried google and other sites i could think of but there isnt a substitute for the 74HC4050D Toshiba chip and there isnt one listed in digikey.

Nevermind it does not match what the 74HC4050D Toshiba chip does. I should have read the datasheet and it just came to me when i was thinking about it today. Closing out issue.
