Animated preferably.

It will be necessary to allow multiple dice of different types to be rolled at once. So, more than just rolling 1 or 2 d6s.

Building upon this, if the Dice are animated rather than just numerical representations, it may be cool to allow some level of customization as well.

d20 with animations. We could potentially use this as a base with some clever Templating and Sass Mixins in order to build different sided dice:
