cant download data forerunner 301 #28

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connecting my forerunner 301 to usb
2. typing garmin_save_runs in the terminal

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

lars@lars-desktop:~$ garmin_save_runs
Extracting data from Garmin Forerunner 301 Software Version 3.10
Files will be saved in '/home/lars'
garmin_read_records: failed to read Pid_Records packet
garmin_read_records2: failed to read Pid_Records packet
Toplevel data missing element 1 (laps)
Toplevel data missing element 2 (tracks)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
garmin-forerunner-tools 0.10-2; Ubunto 11.04

Please provide any additional information below.

Did you solve this problem? Since today I get this error message too. I think 
it could be related to some software package I installed but deinstalling the 
packages didn't help.
